CAMARILLO, Calif., January 3, 2013 -- Fans of the popular Android Relevant Products/Services platform and the top-selling Samsung Galaxy S (R) III smartphone can share a charge with Apple iPhone enthusiasts beginning at the end of January with BuQuTech's launch of the first in a family of Magnetyze(tm) magnetic charging accessories for Android.

BuQu Tech will display the new charging system at the company's MGM Grand suite throughout 2013 International CES in Las Vegas and at the ShowStoppers press event, January 8, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Wynn Hotel/Lafite Ballroom (table A47).

Magnetyze by BuQu Tech applies patent-pending magnetics technology to keep smartphones charged, synchronized and ready to "grab and go." Using the Magnetyze charging system, consumers can do away with the constant need to attach and detach cumbersome cables every time the phone needs to be charged. When the Magnetyze by BuQu Tech magnetic charging system for the Samsung Galaxy S III is available in late January, Magnetyze will become the first charging platform to enable Android and iPhone users to share a charger. And when it's time to upgrade to a new smartphone, only the Magnetyze protective cover or back plate needs to be replaced. The desk stand, magnetic charging cable and other Magnetyze-branded accessories will continue to work with any available Magnetyze smartphone case -- Android or iPhone.

"Magnetyze is the ideal solution for families who use both the Android and iPhone platform, because every phone equipped with a Magnetyze sleeve is instantly compatible with every Magnetyze accessory, regardless of which platform they use," said Ophir Marish, CEO, BuQu Tech, which introduced the Magnetyze family to Apple iPhone 4/4S users in Q4 of 2012. "Now, both iPhone and Android users can upgrade their smartphones without the hassle and expense associated with purchasing new charging devices or other accessories."

The system announced today will be available at the end of the month for purchase as a bundle, at www.buqutech.com/Magnetyze. Samsung Galaxy S III users may choose from two formats:

- The Magnetyze by BuQu Tech Magnetic Charging System With Replacement Back Plate, available for $59.99. Designed for Samsung Galaxy S III users who prefer a charge-only option, this configuration replaces the phone's original rear cover with a back plate that offers seamless attachment to any Magnetyze charging stand. The back plate comes in two popular colors -- gloss white or metallic blue -- and includes a Magnetyze Desk Stand and Magnetic Charging Cable.

- The Magnetyze by BuQu Tech Magnetic Charging System With Protective Case, available for $69.99. This option offers Samsung Galaxy S III users the ability to both charge and sync their data Relevant Products/Services and protects their phone against daily hazards with a sleek, ultra-slim and light protective cover that fits over the existing Samsung phone. The protective case is available in gloss white or gloss black to and comes with a Magnetyze Desk Stand and Magnetic Charge/Sync Cable for easy charging and data sync.

Both bundles include a magnetic cable and the Magnetyze desk charging stand with 360-degree viewing rotation, which allows users to select either vertical or horizontal screen alignment to enable hands-free enjoyment of media, web surfing and more while the phone is charging. Just hold the phone close to any Magnetyze charging stand and it automatically attaches with a click and begins charging, thanks to the magic of magnetics. With the Magnetyze charging system, there are no cords or cradles to connect or disconnect. Users simply "grab and go."

BuQu Tech, a recently-formed subsidiary of Battery-Biz Inc., the leading U.S.-based manufacturer and distributor of consumer electronic power accessories, has announced plans to expand the Magnetyze by BuQu Tech family of magnetic charging products to include additional Android and iPhone accessories, including the iPhone 5, in Q2.
