Level Platforms Integrates Eset Into Its Managed Services Offering To Provide Customers With Increased Security -- Establishes ESET as a Key Figure in the Rapidly Growing Managed Services Provider Space

SAN DIEGO, August 05, 2009 -- ESET, the leader in proactive threat protection Relevant Products/Services, today announced a partnership with Level Platforms, the leader in remote monitoring and management Relevant Products/Services (RMM) software to provide an interface for ESET's NOD32 Business Edition. This partnership gives the more than 3000 IT Relevant Products/Services solution providers worldwide who are using Level Platforms' Managed Workplace to deliver managed services to small and midsized businesses (SMBs) the ability to have instant access to ESET's award-winning security Relevant Products/Services solutions directly from Managed Workplace's web-based central dashboard. The integration with Level Platforms marks ESET's official entry into the managed services provider (MSP) market and establishes the company as a leading security vendor in managed services.

According to a recent In-Stat Research study, the managed services market is estimated to experience steady growth of 7 percent a year through 2012 as companies continue the trend of outsourcing IT services, with computer security one of the main services SMBs are seeking to outsource. Managed Workplace allows IT solution providers to detect and resolve technical problems before they impact customer Relevant Products/Services environments, enabling them to provide better security, lower costs and enhanced operational efficiency.

With the increasing demand for managed services, many of ESET's channel partners are moving toward the managed services model to meet the evolving needs of their customers. By integrating with Level Platforms' Managed Workplace, ESET channel partners who want to provide managed services solutions to their customers can continue offering ESET's proactive threat protection, while existing Level Platforms Partners are now able to easily add ESET's advanced antivirus protection to their existing managed services offerings.

"We are pleased to offer ESET NOD32 Business Edition as a Level Platforms security offering," said Ryck Marciniak, Director of Vendor Alliances, Level Platforms. "As part of our ongoing efforts to deliver the most advanced security solutions, our partnership with ESET gives our customers easy access to a proven proactive security technology, and enables even greater possibilities for customization and security."
