WhipTail Technologies Introduces 6TB SSD Tier 0 Storage Appliance -- New WhipTail Offering Provides Enterprises Largest Storage Capacity with Smallest Footprint

WhipTail, now available in 1.5, 3.0 and 6.0 TB and varying levels of redundancies, is best suited for enterprises with poorly performing databases, over-taxed virtualization Relevant Products/Services storage pools and underperforming email systems.

• Reduces report run time by a factor of 10

• Provides up to a 90 percent energy savings

• Reduces the data center footprint by 60 percent

• Reduces database report generation and load time by 90 percent

WhipTail pricing starts at $46,000 for a 1.5 TB system.

"Since WhipTail's introduction earlier this year, we've already made significant strides in helping our industry peers to gain a new perspective. And in introducing the 6TB capacity, not only is WhipTail setting the bar for performance, footprint and affordability, but now we're the SSD capacity leader."

Dear Whiptail, Thanks so much for developing an SSD that's large but truly fast. 1.5TB of space for only $45,000 is an amazing value. Heck, I may even get 2 or 4 and put them into a RAID configuration. I'm sure the 6TB version is even more, but don't let anyone tell you they are too expensive. In fact, with quality like this, I'd raise the price. I'm thinking about doing a SMASH demo on youtube where I smash 3 or 4 of the whiptails. There are endless ideas. I'm placing my order today. Good luck to you guys!
